The challenge for this spot is creating massive environment sets since the roller coaster covers so much terrain. We decided to build a few sets to be used across multiple shots and then placing additional foliage per shot as needed.
Sets where then additionally divided into sections per shot where necessary and individually sculpted for the rocky cliff surface and the softer dirt terrain that lies above. They were then taken back to Maya where it was propagated with trees, grass, rocks, and pebbles.
